Knick, Gigantor and The Enemy’s hardcore punk inspired movement is leaving an undeniable mark on both the U.S. drum n bass scene not to mention the music world at large. Messinian, The Sounds of Animals Fighting, Cypher Linguistics, Ewun, Vicious Cycle, and Aaron Bedard of BANE, the Atlanta-based trio creates a sound for their latest LP that is clear and unmistakable. I had so much fun tonight with my girl and her friends. We went out to BassWars @ The Blue Frog Cantina (FREE 18+) with Atlanta producers Mayhem and Charlie P and not to mention Athens’ own D;RC. EVERYONE KILLED IT!!! I had a hard time stumbling out of there in order to make my way down to East Side Lounge to catch the Jeru The Damaja DJ SET/live performance. i heard him rock a couple classics like “your playin yourself” and “the bitches,” LIVE!! It was supposed to be a dj set but he ended up doing a couple joint and tearing the place down. Earlier tonight I ran into Abomb who is working on a dope ass single with TrillBass. Keep your ears open cuz this one is sure to be grimey. Big shouts to everyone I saw over in the east atlanta village. I had not been out all week and tonight felt like the party that i needed. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did this weekend. Wish me luck in court on monday. thanks for the support. <3
